Based in New York, teaching live online on Zoom. - Trained in Traditional Hatha Yoga at the Integral Yoga Institute, New York, one of the oldest Yoga lineages in the West, rooted in the teachings of Swami Satchidananda. - She teaches traditional Hatha Yoga as a complete practice: postures (asana), breathwork (pranayama), deep rest (Yoga Nidra) and meditation working together. - Kalyānī is the Sanskrit spiritual name her teachers gave her. It means auspicious, beautiful and blessed. - Her approach: "I am a guide. You are doing the work." The practice is about building steadiness and resilience from within, not about a workout. - [Verify her Yoga Alliance registration](https://app.yogaalliance.org/directoryregistrants?type=Teacher&keyword=ousta) ### Training and study Completed: - 200-hour Hatha Yoga, Integral Yoga Institute, New York. Asana and pranayama in the Integral Yoga lineage. Registered with Yoga Alliance as RYT-200. - Breathwork and Pranayama, 50 additional hours, focused on breath practice and its effect on the nervous system. - Yoga for Fertility, 25 additional hours, focused on supporting women on the fertility journey. - Trauma-informed teaching, applied across every class and format. Currently studying: - Prenatal Yoga (in training), to guide women safely through pregnancy and after birth. - Mudras and Mindfulness (in progress). - Chakras and Asana (in progress). ## Teaching style: what a class feels like - No music. The attention moves inward. - Poses are held a little longer than in a vinyasa class, giving the body time to open and settle. - Slower and more deliberate than vinyasa. Works with breath and stillness rather than flow and movement. - No headstands or advanced poses. - Every class ends with Yoga Nidra, a guided rest lying down completely. Students may turn their camera off during Yoga Nidra. - Trauma-informed and always adaptable. Classes gently challenge while offering a variation at every step. - Every body, every age and every level is welcome, including complete beginners. - Having a camera on helps Cassie offer variations in real time, but students are always in charge of their own practice. Her first priority is that students feel safe and enjoy the practice. ## Offerings and prices ### Online Hatha Yoga classes - Price: $25 per 60-minute class, $30 for the 90-minute Deep Practice. - Format: live on Zoom, weekly, no commitment. - Morning and Afternoon Practice: 60 minutes, weekly, $25. - Deep Practice: 90 minutes, once or twice a month, $30. - A complete traditional practice for body, breath and mind. - [Book an online Hatha class](https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=40610450) ### Yoga for Fertility (online, 6 weeks) - 6-week series: $120 first group price (regular price $150). - Drop-in class: $28, 75 minutes. - Format: live online, an intimate group of 6 to 8 women. - Cycle-aware teaching. No. Hatha Yoga is where yoga begins. Every level is welcome, and poses are always offered with variations so you practice in a way that is right for your body today. - What do I need for an online class? A yoga mat, enough floor space to lie down, and a device with a camera. Wear something comfortable you can move in. - What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep: a guided practice where you lie completely still while Cassie leads your awareness through the body. It is deeply restorative. Most students find it the part of class they look forward to most. - How is Hatha different from vinyasa or other styles? Hatha is slower and more deliberate. Poses are held longer, there is no music, and the practice works with breath and stillness rather than flow and movement. Less about the workout, more about what happens inside. - Can I join Yoga for Fertility if I'm not in treatment? Yes. It is open to any woman on a fertility journey, whether trying naturally, between cycles, or in treatment. - Are classes recorded? Classes are live. Students in the 6-week Yoga for Fertility series who miss a class receive a private recording so they can catch up. - What is the cancellation policy? Please cancel at least 24 hours before your class. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged in full. - Do I have to commit to anything? No. Hatha classes are pay as you go, with no membership or package. Yoga for Fertility can be a single drop-in or the 6-week series. - How do I join the class? The Zoom link is in the booking confirmation email. Click it a few minutes before class on a computer, tablet or phone (free Zoom app on phones and tablets). - I'm pregnant. Can I still come? Yes. Pregnant students are welcome in the regular Hatha and Yoga for Fertility classes. Let Cassie know before class and keep her updated so she can adjust poses, and check with a doctor or midwife. - Is my information private? Booking details and booking-form answers are stored securely by Acuity, payments go through PayPal, and Cassie never shares anyone's information. - I booked but didn't get an email. What now? Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it's not there, write to Cassie through the contact form and she'll send the Zoom link directly. ## Policies - Cancellation: cancel at least 24 hours before class.
