Yoga for fertility

Whether you're just starting to try or have been on this path for a while, this is 75 minutes to come home to your body. To soften, to breathe, and to feel warm, open and alive in yourself.

Who this is for

This class is for any woman on a fertility journey. You might be going through IVF or IUI. You might be trying naturally, month after month. You might be between cycles, or coming back to your body after a loss, when you feel ready.

If you've been at this for a while, you've been told to relax. You've been tracking, waiting, hoping. This class won't fix that, but it will give you 75 minutes where your body is finally on your side.

Wherever you are, you don't need to explain it. You just come.

The fertility journey asks a lot of the body and the nervous system: appointments, waiting, hope, disappointment, starting again. This practice is not another thing to get right. It is a place to put all of that down for a while.

Why a small group

The group stays between 6 and 8 women, on purpose. Small means you are seen, not lost in a crowd of squares on a screen. I can watch how you are moving and offer you a variation that fits your body that day.

It also means the women beside you understand, because they are in it too. Many women on this path feel very alone. Here, you are not.

This is not about doing more. It is about giving your body and your mind a place to rest, steadily, week after week.

What happens in the 75 minutes

A traditional Hatha practice, adapted with care for the fertility journey.

Gentle movement

Slow, supported postures that bring warmth and ease into the body, especially the hips, pelvis and lower back. Poses are held a little longer, with a variation at every step. No headstands, nothing forced.

Breath

Simple breathing practices (pranayama) that help settle the nervous system. These are tools you can take with you into waiting rooms, appointments and long nights.

Deep rest

Every class ends with Yoga Nidra, a guided rest where you lie down completely and let go. Many women say this is the part they need most. You can turn your camera off for it.

Cycle-aware teaching

The practice is shaped around where you are in your cycle or treatment. Let me know before class and I will offer you the gentlest options for that day.

Fertility yoga questions

Is Yoga for Fertility a medical treatment?

No. This class supports your body and nervous system alongside whatever care you are receiving. It does not replace medical advice or treatment, and it does not promise an outcome. It gives you a calm, steady place to be while you go through this.

Do I need yoga experience?

No. The class is gentle and every pose comes with a variation. If you have never done yoga before, you are welcome.

Can I join if I'm doing IVF or IUI?

Yes. Check with your doctor or clinic first, as you would with any movement practice. Before class, let me know where you are in your cycle and I will offer you gentler options. Nothing is ever forced.

What if I'm after a transfer or might be pregnant?

Always follow your clinic's guidance first. Tell me before class and the practice can be kept very gentle, focused on breath and rest. You can also simply lie down and join for Yoga Nidra. If you become pregnant, you're welcome to keep coming. Just keep me informed so I can adjust the poses for you.

Can I join if I'm trying naturally?

Yes. The class is open to any woman on a fertility journey, whether you are trying naturally, between cycles, or in the middle of treatment. You don't need to explain where you are.

Do I have to have my camera on?

It helps me see you and offer variations in real time, but you are always in charge. Many women turn the camera off during Yoga Nidra at the end.

What do I need?

A yoga mat, enough space to lie down, and a device with a camera. A blanket or cushion is lovely for the rest at the end.

What if I miss a class in the series?

Life happens, especially on this journey: appointments, hard days, a cycle that changes plans. If you're in the 6-week series and miss a class, I'll send you a private recording so you can catch up when you're ready.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please cancel at least 24 hours before your class. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged in full.

I booked but didn't get an email. What now?

Check your spam or promotions folder first, sometimes it lands there. If it's not there, write to me and I'll send your Zoom link directly.
